Below are the answers to some frequently asked questions.

What are your charges?

Our charges for Apple computers start at just £50.00 per hour and £40.00 for Windows computers. For more details on our rates, please visit our rates page for Apple or Windows.

Do you charge by the hour?

Our minimum onsite charge is £55.00 for Apple computers and £45.00 for Windows computers. This charge covers the first hour of our time. Any additional time will be charged in increments of 15 minutes.

Do you have any callout charges?

Area map - click for a larger version.If your work premises or home is within the blue area in the map below, there is no callout fee and travelling is complimentary. Our workshop is located in North Hove and you are welcome to bring your computer to us.

I am at work all day - can I have an appointment in the evening or at the weekend?

This is one opportunity we have to demonstrate how different we are from other IT companies as we can offer appointments at a time convenient to you outside the standard hours of 9 - 5. We also offer emergency/last minute appointments. Please note, a supplement may apply to our standard rates for this level of service.

Can you collect and return my computer?

Yes we can do this for you. If you are within our blue service area above then we can collect or return you computer for just £6.00 or collect and return for £12.00

How I do know that my data is safe with you?

We have a policy to never look at data unless requested by you for either backup or data recovery purposes. We also have a Data Protection policy: details available on request.

Are you insured against damages to my equipment or other property?

Yes, we are fully insured carrying £2,000,000 of Public liability insurance and also £100,000 of professional indemnity insurance. This ensures we are fully covered for your complete peace of mind. Further details of our insurances are available on request.

How much notice do you require for making a visit or collecting a repair?

The earlier you enquire or book our services, the more likely we are to have an appointment available at a time convenient for you. However, we will always do our very best to accommodate late bookings as we understand that your computer might suddenly require our attention.

What happens if I need to cancel an appointment?

We would ask for a minimum of two hours notice before your appointment time in order to avoid any late cancellation charges. Assuming we receive at least two hours’ notice, there is no charge to cancel an appointment.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

If we arrive at your home or work premises and there is no-one there to meet us to direct us to where we need to work, we will normally charge for 30 minutes of our onsite time. We will also charge for any previously agreed callout charges.
